2012 is ushered in for TC with a new intro by David Benoit, and a new outro by Gerry Mulligan.  This year will see me featuring an artist a month, could be a composer, singer or musician, someone you may or may not know.....

On Tuesday the 24th of January, I'll start the new feature for Thompsons Corner.  I'm going to spend an hour or thereabouts illuminating the talents of Andy Cowan.  If you're a regular listener to our station, you will be familiar with some of his music.  Tune in to find out more of Andy and his life in music.

 

I think Thompsons Corner is an oasis in the desert of music programming for Sydney's consenting adults.  Every Tuesday afternoon, you're invited to join me for 4 hours of quality contemporary jazz and independent music from Australia and elsewhere.  There will be the occasional interview with a local or overseas artist or musician, sometimes a themed hour, eg; songs that have the word moon in them.....but always a comfortable afternoon of audio pleasure.  And, if you've heard an artist or musician you think I'd be interested in, please contact me......see LHS
